1. Local Support – Our national network of self-help groups enable people affected by depression to share experiences and coping strategies with others in similar situations.

4. Making your voice heard – We work with healthcare professionals to secure better service provision for people affected by depression and lobby government to influence policy making in this mental health field. click here

5. Raising awareness – Informed by the experiences of people with depression, we raise awareness of the realities of the illness amongst the general public with a variety of influential campaigns throughout the year. click here

7. Research – Depression Alliance works in partnership with universities, health professionals and other voluntary organisations to research the causes, treatments and instances of depression in the UK.
